So I was driving to work today to speak with management, And I noticed a Red leather Purse sitting on the side of the road.
I did a U-turn and picked it up. Upon investigating the contents of it. I found a state ID with a address. I went about my business. And later drove by my Doctors office to see if there was stand by appointments available. None were today at a convenient time. So I decided to go back there later to urgent care. I google mapped the address. And my phone led me to some upscale condos downtown. I just drove there, After I left the Doctors office, since It was 10 minutes away. And I went up to the office with the red leather purse to return it.
No one was in this office there was a pool on the other side of office and some fancy chairs but this building was vacant at this time. So I saw this call box thing to ring the people in the buildings. I pushed some random buttons and a female voice answered and I explained. What I was doing And the person on the speaker suggested I take it to the empty office and ring the intercom. I walked up to the vacant building again and tapped on the glass door and peeked inside. I didn't see anyone around but I looked and noticed a slot where the people leave the rent checks like a night drop. So I looked to see if anyone was watching. And pushed the small leather purse through the slot. Just as a loud alarm started blaring from empty guard shack next to the intercom thing. So I decided jump in the Car. And take off down 3rd avenue. In manual turbo mode, before anyone showed up to ask me unnecessary questions. I'm pretty sure they'll figure it out later. When the random person in the vacant office finds a red purse sitting on the floor. And realizes this is a tenants purse. There was a $1 bill in the purse and a hand written check for $100 along with several plastic cards. I took the dollar bill and left everything else intact as payment for my time so I could get a cold drink later. So hopefully this person gets the purse back.
